Bob's Clam Hut was established in 1956 and since then. has been delighting its customers with delicious sea food. Clams, shrimps, calamari, oysters, tuna and other varieties of fresh seafood are jam packed with flavors whether in a roll or on a bun the food tastes heavenly. They have an extensive menu but they are very popular for their Bob's fried clams and the Lillian fried clams. A must visit if taking the US Route 1.

I've been going to Maine since I was a kid (when I was in HS, a friend had a house in Boothbay Harbor; in college, I dated a woman from Bangor who worked in Bar Harbor over the summers; I've skied all over ME) and I sample clam chowder and/or lobster rolls wherever I roam. Great family spot! Been going here since I was a kid! (Am now 50)
Stopped for a quick bite on our way north everyone was wonderful and friendly and the food.... soooo good. I would definitely recommend the lobster rolls ❤️
