the response from the dealer was another question. I asked for his best price and in response they asked what I would like to pay
Bought car.
They raised the price a $1000 on the car I was looking at hours after I contacted them. They said it was because in spring values goes up with demand but it sure put me on the defensive from the start!

The part the customer left out is that we told him we would still honor the price he was given. What people don't understand is sometimes we have to repair vehicles or the market changes. 20 years in business :)
Unscrupulous dealer. Had a verbal agreement, I completed credit check (which he ran), offered to put $ down to hold (which he said I didn’t need to do), and then sold the car after I left. I purchased a newer CR-V with less miles in St. Charles, IL. Spend your time and money ANYWHERE else but at Bob Waterson Motorsports!
