I bought a 2012 silverado this past thursday june 12, 2020. Drove it to the lake over the weekend before I ever got back home my dash is lit up like a christmas tree. Have it taken to the mechanic this morning. Mechanic says one of the lifters collapsed. Call the dealership and theres "nothing they can do" since I didnt purchase an extended warranty. I'm now 4 days into ownership of this vehicle and now have a new lawn ornament.

We had a vehicle towed to their dealership as we were from out of town and we had trouble on the interstate. Not only was their recommendation that we need to tear the engine down, they made a list of repairs that they stated were immediately required for a total of over $4200.00. The list included some things like, new struts, oil leak, oil needed changed, transmission coolant line leak and of course the engine tear down to find the actual reason it died while driving down the interstate. Least stressful vehicle transaction ever!! So helpful and friendly, had us in and out in no time!
Lot of trouble with the service dept. Continue to replace parts that did not resolve anything. Last trip was told they could not figure out what was wrong. Still charged me for diagnostics AGAIN. ALMOST $500. I bought the car there.
