Food and drink were great! Why 2 stars? Because a dining experience is more than food. It comes with the expectation of not being herded like cattle and rushed through a meal. Waitstaff is 100% concerned with turning the table and does not care about your experience. As an extremely high-grossing restaurant, I must be in the minority. Perhaps just not my cup of tea...
If the interior was redone, let's face it, it needs it badly,I would give it a 5.
Read all the 5 star reviews and thought it couldn't be true. It IS! Wonderful wait staff, wonderful FRESH scallops and crab cakes Great dining experience. Chicago's finest.
Absolutely delicious. The Onaga was wonderful. Max our server was outstanding. She was very attentive and noticed we mentioned it was Tommy's birthday celebration and hooked him up with dessert and sang Happy Birthday for him. We will be back soon. Thanks again Max for a wonderful experience.
idk if it was just the day or what, but yesterday we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and my wife had never been here before and i have during lunch, so i called and put us down and requested a to be in a secluded area not in the main dining room, we walked in they didn't have our names down, they sat us in main dining room after being asked again to be in a more private area, we were told it's a 45 minute wait, so we sat at the table, silverware were dirty, had to ask the server twice to switch them out, didn't have ... read more
First time there service was great had the pork chops were great and tasty salad bar was very good over all it was amazing will go there again

Another great meal at Bob Chinn's! Whole lobster was tasty. Crab fingers on top of fettuccine Alfredo. Great salad, tasty appetizers of peel 'n eat shrimp and oysters. Tasty Cole slaw and garlic rolls.
