My wife and I used Boatwright Building Consultants to inspect the home we bought. Our inspector was very professional. He was incredibly patient and helpful and answered all of our questions, both during the inspection and afterwards. We will definitely use them again as the needs arises
Boatwright has handled inspections for two properties for us. In both cases they completed an extremely thorough report. They now also will check the roof with a drone, which is great since you really shouldn't walk on Spanish tile roofs common here in the South Bay. In our most recent report they caught an area of concern and recommended an engineer come out to follow up. When looking for a building inspector I would highly recommend Boatwright Building. My inspector was very responsive to all of my questions and absolutely thorough with his reports regarding an income property. Their years of experience and advise proved to be indispensable. This company can provide that for you.
I was looking for a home in a specific area, and we found one which looked very nice. We entered into escrow on the home and asked Boatwright Building Consultants to do an inspection of the home even though it seemed to be in very good condition, and was fairly new. BBS and their crew found many defects is the home including, plumbing, electrical, and synthetic stucco on the exterior.
