Our waitress was courteous and friendly. We would have preferred the upper deck with a better breeze since we had our pugs with us but there was not enough staff upstairs due to an event. The calamari, fish tacos and shrimp poboy were all good.
The reason for 2 stars is because out of everything that was ordered out of our party of 8 only 3 things were really good everything else was either burned or tasteless or too dry...manager was incredibly rude and refused to take the worst meal of all..the parmesan crusted mahi mahi..off the ticket...it was so disgusting it could not be eaten...the manager kept saying it was their best selling item and it was cooked the way it was supposed to be cooked! I will preface this by saying, our visit was 3 July, a holiday weekend. Now, lets get on with it. Like many here on the island, we have family and friends visit, and sometimes you just want to go out for dinner and not have to worry clean up. It was Sunday night and we all had too much sun, and with so many of the local places outside seating, we wanted an inside dining experience. I read all the reviews before going to this place and decided I would try my luck on the service since that's what all the complaints online were about. I must have had a different server because I had no wait on Memorial Day and the food was fresh. The alcoholic beverages were well made and the view was enjoyable. Loved it and can't wait to go again! I will say it was understaffed and it took awhile to get our food but we loved it because we were in no rush as long as the beverages were out.
I love the food and the atmosphere is nice. Children enjoy eating here. SLAMMERS are the best. Try it for yourself, then post your good experience here, some people are unhappy in general and they tend to talk bad a lot. Before accepting a review as truth go look at the persons fb page and see if they constantly criticized other places as well. THIS WILL ALWAYS be my FAVORITE place to eat!
We had a wonderful time on our special honeymoon night out. We would go back for sure!
