Th manager needs a class in Customer Service. The employees are great.
I live on the Island and am a regular custmer at The Boathouse. I am also a member of New Neighbors League, and chair Girls Night Out. We have had many events here. The last one was a week ago. There was 30 quest in my club. The food was great, the service was outstanding, and everyone enjoyed the evening!
The food was off the chain!!!! It was hot, it was fresh, it tasted homemade (mashed potatoes where OMG good. Sandra loved her grilled shrimp �. We are going back tomorrow!!!!!
The fried potato salad is amazing!!! I had the Stuffed Fried Shrimp.....and it was delicious! Our server was very friendly and did a great job! Every year, we visit friends in Corpus, we make it a point to eat at the Boathouse! Love the food and the atmosphere!
I have Been wanting to try this place for awhile even with the mixed reviews. Perfect. It's Monday. The ad in the newspaper says live music. I call to inquire about the start time and the young lady says either 6 or 8. She suggested I call later to find out for sure. It's already 1:30. I asked who was playing and she said she forgot. Expensive prices for nasty food, quesadillas were four tiny squares for 21.00 and really nasty meat. Left still hungry and feeling jipped!
If there was an option to put 0 stars I would. This place upcharges their microwaved food just because they are somewhat close to the beach. DO NOT COME HERE. The food will either be raw, cold, or as hard as a rock. Driving the extra few minutes to Whataburger would've been a 5 star meal compared to this place.
