Great service and food! I'm local. First time eating here. Definitely will be back for more than the sunset.

Don't ever eat the soft shell blue crab....red peas were awful. The mac and cheese had a strange odor....very expensive!

Hospitality was wonderful from the minute I walked in the door. Sunset was amazing and my filet mignon was cooked to perfection.

The Boathouse is not what it used to be. When we left at 9pm on Friday night the place was literally empty. The food was okay, but not nearly as good as it used to be. The shrimp were small and over cooked, the blue-cheese cold slaw was drowning in the blue-cheese dressing and therefore soggy. The collards were also overlooked and soggy. The prices were high, especially for the quality of the food. The service however was excellent.
