This was our first time at the Boathouse and they did not disappoint. From the friendly hostesses and wait staff, to the complimentary champagne when our waitress overheard it was our 20th anniversary and then the of course the delicious appetizers and main course. Wish we’d had room for dessert because the creme brûlée sounded amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

Headed to Isle of Palms for 30th wedding anniversary. Boathouse had been our favorite restaurant and with our 5 kids, spouses and fiancés, we had a full group of 12 people. Made reservations a month in advance. Only to find out that the reservation was made for June 4 and not July 4. I don't know, maybe you aren't use to taking reservations a month in advance. I took my Dutch mother to visit for a Charleston get away.....the sunset was amazing....the service okay ....we ordered the Tuna Tartar appetizers it was amazing however i found plastic in the middle of the food....not sure from what or where......the food came after the appetizer my food was cold but mom loved hers ....thats all that matters....we finished with creme Brulee ....$100 bill for two folks....mmmmm no one never came to the table to explain the plastic ...and they still charged me for it ....for a 4 star restaura... read more
