A great find on my second trip very to Savannah! We stopped in for lunch and were very impressed. Great atmosphere, great waiter and great lunch. Try the Hot Georgia Brown. We're still talking about it!! Will definitely be coming back on my next visit.
The service is always top-notch! The fried green tomatoes with balsamic reduction and crab cakes are not to be missed!
FABULOUS! Great service! Grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon with peach BBQ sauce. Spinach salad with grilled chicken cooked to perfection. Most restaurant s over cook chicken and shrimp dishes. Shrimp and Cheese Grits were great. Shrimp were a little over cooked. Great view of th river and people.

Excellent Food and service. We just celebrated our 50th Annv. and went back to the Boar's head because that is where we had our Dinner Party 50th years ago. Have been back many time over the years but this Dec. 12 was a special one. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
We were in for a late lunch on Saturday, November 15, 2014. I really like this restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the food was very good and very hot. The waitress was really friendly, nice, helpful, attentive and gave suggestions when asked. The only thing they need to do is fix the paper towel dispenser in the ladies' room. PS. I liked the food much more than Vic's on the River and the cost was lower than Vic's.
The BEST shrimp & grits south of the Mason-Dixon Line! Although the shrimp appears to be farmed, it was tasty, albeit tad chewy; thus, the 4★s.
