Great atmosphere and service with phenomenal food! The waitress had great suggestions that fit my dietary restrictions (no gluten, soy or dairy) and I was thrilled with my dinner! Definitely recommend the grilled veggies and spicy blackened grilled shrimp! I did steal a bite of the hubby's grits and they were the best I've ever had with a cheesy yumminess! Glad I only had a bite, but glad I went for it and enjoyed that one forbidden taste! Can't wait to eat here again should I find myself back in Savannah!
Loved the atmosphere and food. We sat near the kitchen and observed how all the food went out HOT and was checked by the head chef. Wonderful wait staff.
Some of the best food I have ever eaten! Staff was awesome. Service was awesome. I have truly enjoyed this dining experience. The atmosphere was equally charming. Betina Lou is the server I would recommend.
Had an awesome meal tonight- bread is awesome. I had chef Phil's crab cakes and the cheese grits were perfect! Great service and no waiting!! For sure 5 stars all the way!!!!!

This is the 2nd time I've been here. It was recommended by a friend last year for the Shrimp and Grits, I was not disappointed. Visting again and brought my husbsnd who is very hard to impress and he loved it too. The building has lots of character for those looking for some history, the building was a cotton mill. There's a beautiful view of the Savanna Harbor and the Westin Resort across the water at night. I have recommended the Boars Head to many.

Perusing the menu posted outside discussing Shrimp n Grits we started visiting with Bobby (1 of their cooks) who graciously offered a sample. This lead to an amazing dinner where the portions were generous, friendly staff who treated us kindly. This Yankee is sold & will stop when ever Savannah is on the travel agenda! Thanks Bobby for a proper southern introduction to grits!!!!
