Extremely noisy and say goodbye to your security deposit. The cost: I rented a one bedroom apartment here on a month to month basis at $2600/mo + utilities. I put down a $750 security deposit. The unit: It's your classic old but cheaply "renovated" American apartment. Not nice but really could be worse. However it is right along the train tracks, it may as well be the train station and there's a road crossing nearby as well which means the conductors love to blast their horn as they go by the apartment. Noisy, poor management, poor accounting, esch time they were truong to reach for the already paid services, they are afer your money only, because they are located in Palo Alto, and there is a high demand, they think they have right to tenants like sh... they leased the place with the disgusting carpet that had terrible odor, we realized after move in, they used same company to solve the problem but, no luck we had to take care it ourselves.
