I lived at Boardwalk for four years, I moved and came back to my home, Boardwalk nine months later. When I came back, I was greeted so warmly by the staff, as well as the people living at Spruce Ridge Garden, and I was truly touched. Terrible company. Starts off with a fresh cost of paint and a decent deal - rent will increase drastically while amenities decrease. Pest infected buildings.
They know very well what to do. They lock people in first for a reasonable rent, and keep increasing it every year regardless of the market. If you're a new customer, the rent is way cheaper than the market rent, but if you're an existing customer, you're most probably paying so much higher. They just posted a unit that is literally identical to my place for $220 less than what I'm paying, and right when the market prices was going down they bumped my rent $100. I’ve complained several times about their rental The Circle at Seton about their tenants dogs barking; videos sent. Dogs barking for prolonged periods (hours). They reply back saying they’ll look into it and nothing gets resolved.
Moved my father who is older in board walk his wife my mother passed away, and he no longer needed a 2 bedroom, he asked to be moved to a 1 bedroom. They could not find him one so they offered him month to month lease till he could find a place mean while they make him sign a new 1 year lease!!! Now charging him $1000.00 to break a lease he should have never been in. Absoultly disgusting!!! You all should be ashamed.
