Great location. That's it. Rude staff. Unaccommodating, harassing and confrontational. I get it. You work front desk at a tourist town hotel. You're gonna get bad customers. Don't take it out on your other customers. Housekeeping manager was so rude. Vocal complaints about "Sunday"—look... I know this isn't the Ritz Carlton, but the level of mold and lack of maintenance and upkeep is why people call this town Travesty, MI. A truly disgusting place.
So I saw pics of the place and it looked nice and all but when we got there the bath was all chipped and old and also looked dirty. And then I went to take a bath and the water was only hot for 1 minute. When I talked to the lady about it she said she couldn’t do anything about it. I paid $200 for this hotel which is over what I ever pay which was ridiculous to me also seeing how outdated it was, the tv, the walls, everything. Let’s be real, it’s the Days Inn not Hampton Inn. But it is a cost-effective hotel in Traverse City. The beds were comfortable, and water pressure was amazing always had hot water..Of course we had the provisioning smells as I would expect. Everything is outdated. The floors are definitely suspect. I didn’t want to walk in my room without socks on.. definitely needs a dehumidifier as everything felt damp from the humidity. Breakfast was good and overall if I needed a cost-effective place to stay, I would stay here.
