Regrets!!! Trading in pre- owned ‘2015 Jeep Patriot in ‘2020(30,000) for BMW X3 ‘2017 This Certified pre-owned ‘2017 X3 BMW was big disappointment . I bought 2018 530x drive from BMW of Minnetonka. Speedometer is build for 160m/h and car is advertised for 155m/h. I do not care about 5m/h speed difference but what is annoying is car can not do more then 133m/h in factory settings. This is major ripp off from both dealer side and BMW of North America. I did my research apparently all of their 2017 to 2022 530xi & 540xi models are the same no more then 133m/h speed. I think it same with thier different models too. I have purchased three used vehicles from 2014 on(2006 325xi, 2008 328xi, and 2015 X1 x35i). I have gone through the same salesman and he was up front about everything from maintenance due and coming soon, to just showing me what I was interested and not trying to upsell me on cars that I did not want. I recently had a maintenance issue, I had mentioned the issue at my prior servicing but it was intermittent and they could not replicate it at the time. I bought the 2017 X5 BMW from this dealership on 12/31/19 remotely. Upon receiving the car I noticed 1) an odometer reading of 37,851 miles…. 1,735 miles more than what I signed the contract for. I signed for 36,141 2) damages inside the car and several dents/scratches outside the car. I purchased the car as a certified pre-owned BMW and there is clear evidence this dealership did not perform the required Certified Pre Owned Inspection which requires dealers to fix dents, parts and wear before reselling.
