I purchased a car from them recently. The car had some paint chips which I accepted. When negotiated new tires and they had the car for 5 days (shipping + install time) and during that time they touched up the chips. When I took a look they made blobs of touch up paint on a jet black paint color. when I brought it up, they said they would not be able to remove it and they will not help figure out how to remove the touch up paint. It looks bad to where another sales person even mentioned they should not have done that and del... read more

In three years we have had it towed in 5 times either to mini or another shop , we have put about ***** in to it for repairs , now it needs another 3600. Recently tried to purchase a car from Mini of Hawaii. My trade in has a loan for ***** I was offered ***** for my trade in at the dealership. This left me with negative equity of 4000. I was told that I have to pay the dealership ***** to pay the car off instead of the negative equity of the vehicle. I have had the loaning back contact them that their calculations were wrong and the only thing that should be added to the new deal is the leftover negative equity but they demanded the full ***** for the vehicle. Basically tryi... read more

Tl;dr: **************** and apparently unwilling to fix damage that they've caused to customers' vehicles.I took my car in for a safety inspection, and I needed my rear tint removed in order to pass, so the shop attempted to remove it. After 7-8 hours, they finally returned my car to me, but the tint wasn't fully removed. There's still a thin film of tint left on the windshield, which has made it unsafe for me to drive the car, especially in rainy weather.I took my car to a nearby tint shop to fix ***** error, and his assess... read more

Just bought a 2017 ****** Corolla from Mini of Hawaii at ****************** in Honolulu. I am deeply dissatisfied with them. I trusted that they did a through inspection of the vehicle with their 21 point check and discovered that the safety check was expired...from 9/20. I reported it to the sales person who said that he couldn't do anything to remedy the issue. He informed me that "if I get a ticket for the expired safety, just bring the ticket in and management will pay for it." This is not a solution to the problem of bu... read more

Hello,Just wanted to share my experience with this company in Hawaii. A little background I am currently on Active Duty for 17 years now but not looking for any special considerations or anything I just believe it's wrong for this company to do it period to anyone. My experience is that my wife bought a vehicle from Mini of Hawaii which is owned by *** of Hawaii. During that time they sold us a car that was *****-infested and we decided to sell it back to them. Once we sold it to them it took 5 months are constantly remindin... read more

Three words: RIP. OFF. ARTISTS.This company charged thousands. Thousands of dollars to fix my car. I only agreed to have them fix one thing. No, they went ahead and fixed all the things that didn't matter, like A/C. Then, the car stops working after a day (luckily they fixed the A/C right?) So I bring it back. What do they do? Charge thousands more. What happens? They break the center console compartment AND the car randomly bogs out.At this point, I'm thinking, "are these people ripping me off?" But after calling them, they m... read more

Bought used bmw, front headlight out first night tried using (w/in 24 hrs of delivery). They refused to check it and kept repeating the as is clause. Would have been easy to help me out . I would have accepted whatever service dept determined who was responsible. Also, ignored twice in showroom. Not the ultimate shopping experience. Unfortunately their the only dealer on island.

Me and my wife just purchased a used car from BMW of Honolulu 3 months ago. They were great when we were there looking for a car but the moment we steped off of the lot we recieved extremely poor treatment from that day on. I still have not recieved my registration for the vehicle and everytime i call (8 times not) all I ever get is the runaround about they dont know what is wrong and they will get back to me. They never do. Forget about the fact that they said they would find the spare key for me I know that is never coming... read more
