I spent nearly 11 months trying to get an issue addressed related to the EGR recall on my 2014 BMW 328d. The recall states the intake manifold should be replaced if damaged. Mine was leaking. Despite this, I was told it would not be replaced because there were no visible burn holes — which was language from the original recall version, not the revised one that covers damage more broadly. For exceptional BMW service I highly recommend BMW of Gainesville. An electrical issue with my '03 530i left me stranded at the start of an 1,100 mile trip. Without an appointment Colby and the service techs were able to diagnose the problem, overnight the replacement part, a new alternator, install it, troubleshoot and have me on the road again within 24 hours.
