A loan officer (Alex) picked up the phone, explained the pre-approval process and worked over the weekend to ensure that I had a pre-approval letter available before Monday morning in order to make an offer on a home. He was very responsive and kept me up-to-date on interest rates to ensure that we locked the rate at a perfect time. His knowledge and experience in the industry made the process easy, from the initial stages all the way through closing.

Alex and Greg are awesome! These two guys are always on top of things, and they will pro-actively let you know what needs to get done in order to move forward with your mortgage loan. Also, their interest rates are the best I found in the area. Highly recommended.
Alex at Carlson Mortgage provided me with a mortgage a year ago, when I was buying my first home. Now I just refinanced to lower the interest rate and Carlson Mortgage paid for all of my closing costs. I got a low interest rate and the loan was closed quickly and without needing an appraisal. My home buyer just closed on a purchase transaction with Carlson Mortgage. We dealt with Alex as our loan officer. The initial mortgage pre-approval was timely and thorough and we received loan commitment a few weeks before the due date. The closing and funding was smooth and the buyer raved about the low interest that he received. And the loan officer also attended the closing, which was a nice touch.
