Dr. Monheit may be a terrific specialist in the "practice" of medicine. But she is not a people person especially to seniors. Cannot get past her arrogant, rude and dismissive demeanor towards myself and my 80+ year old mother. She spent less than five minutes, became impatient and indifferent when I asked her to repeat her treatment plan again to my mother and disengaged by looking down at the paperwork while talking "at" us. If you're unfortunate enough to have glaucoma, then consider yourself fortunate indeed if you cross paths with Dr. Monheit ... she's smart and skillful ... she really knows what's going on regarding your malady. She'll be straight and to the point, which is what you need treating glaucoma ... it's an ongoing dance ... and she's the dance partner you're looking for.
Dr Monheit is an excellent doctor for glaucoma! She is straight and to the point with my treatment and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I haven’t had any problems at Texan EyeCare and I highly recommend them.
