Return here all the time. Clean rooms, close to beach
The girl was great that I talked to on the phone with places to visit recommendations etc. I guess for the price I was expecting more updated rooms etc. No central air, only 2 window air conditioners that don’t really cool the place very well. I could have paid a little more at a hotel and had better conditions and the use of a pool! Location is great to be able to walk to many shops and restaurants. We walked to a local coffee shop that was really cute.
Warm and friendly staff … explained the grounds and amenities. Loved the 100 year old structure and the LOCATION is unbeatable. Downtown is close but not too close … a quiet area with the best of the beach. Will definitely stay at the Blue Water Inn the next time we’re in Grand Haven!
I have been coming to the Bluewater Inn for the last 10 years on and off, and I don't even live in the area anymore. The location can't be beat, right across the street from the beach - both the City and the State Park - as well as an extremely pleasant 30 minute stroll into town. A variety of beach chairs and other items are available for your use while you're there, as is board games and other activities on site. The owners and staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful.
