Beautiful space — lively yet chilled. Great breakfast options and most importantly, they know how to make a good coffee, espresso and latte. Very friendly service. My favorite is their Green Baked Eggs, served on an iron pan. Update: this is our go to place for breakfast and coffee on a daily basis. Still good. Still amazing.
We came in for a simple muffin and banana bread, and left completely shocked. The banana bread was half-frozen, crumbly, and clearly old — it literally fell apart in our fingers it was so dry. When my wife, who is 8 months pregnant, politely asked for a refund, the Asian woman behind the counter/barista who served us not only refused, but aggressively insisted on making another one instead. Great service and coffee!
Unfortunately I wished this place way more than I did. The decor was very cute inside, but it was very confusing. We were getting coffee to go and had to be directed where to go as well as where to stand to wait. They could definitely benefit from better sinage and just design flow in general. I'm very sad to say the espresso in my latte tasted very burnt. I was able to sip about half of it but the char flavor was very strong. I also ordered it vanilla and I didn't really taste that.
