It took 7 months to diagnosis the issue with my Blue Print crate 302 engine. By the time we found the problem, I was charged almost $7000 to diagnose the problem and another $4000.00 to rebuild a $3500 crate engine. My grand total bill was $11,000 (no joke) on a $3500 Blue Print crate engine with only 7k miles. The overall cost of the repair was not worth the engines value. Blue Print customer service did not provide enough support for troubleshooting and they did not take ownership of their faulty product.

I have been looking to have a Mopar 408 Stroker built. I have heard nothing but good things about BluePrint Engines, so I ordered one on 4/19/22, Paid in Full. When I ordered it I was told that they did not have the engine in stock and that they would start my build and the shipping date would be +/- 2 weeks of 11/30/22. A week before 11/30/22 I contacted them and was told that a work order had not been created and that they were waiting on some cams to come in. Call back in a month or so. On 1/3/23 I called back to see if t... read more

To the owner of Blue Print Engines, I just want to let you know about two of your employees, Brian and Josh. Because of the way they have treated me you have a customer for life and as soon as I can swing buying another engine I will. I have a 632ci I bought in 2015 and three weeks ago I broke a push rod and a lifter, and it grooved up the cam. Dealing with Josh and Brian they sent me a cam, lifters, push rods, gasket, timing chain and gears. I bought a new balancer and they really took great care of me. Your customer se... read more

Wow, just got off the phone with some person at Blue Print Engines trying to get some answers on their SHORT PARTS LIST & after spending over$10k with them all he wanted to do was to get me to hang up & go away. Can’t do anything. Everything too hard. More like laziness if you ask me, plus who in their right mind turns away BUSINESS? Poor, poor customer support so far & I just started with these people! Guess I need to find another source that’s dependable. Sad!
