Bluephie's is my favorite restaurant in Madison. Everything is so good -- from the bread & butter you start out with to the desserts. The entrees are different enough to be interesting, but not so out there that they taste completely off.
if you love your dishes with a lot of flavor... the type of flavors that are hard to reproduce in your own kitchen, this is one of my favorite dining spots. sip a glass or wine and save room for desserts (the carrot cake is the best around). yum
Great value and lots of vegetarian options Very nice waitstaff and excellent food. Near-west restaurant on Monroe Street has off-street parking, which is very nice. The dinner menu is extensive and has lots of vegetarian options beyond the standard portabella sandwich. The bread and butter served before the meal is delicious. Cozy Diner Great food and friendly service are some of the strongest selling points at Bluephies on Monroe St. The menu presents one with the option of a great variety of burgers, salads and worldly entrees. Bluephies is vegetarian friendly and offers many healthy and delicious options. The fries are heavenly. Highly recommended.
Contemporary comfort food The eclectic mix of modernity of the interior of the restaurant and 'classic-ness' of the food is as delicious to the eyes as the taste of the food is to the palette. I like to go for Sunday brunch of breakfast jambalaya and coffee, but the sandwiches are amazing too. Try the asian grilled tuna steak sandwich. I have also heard that the cookie dough eggrolls a la mode are to die for.
