DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. Took my kitty to Blue Pearl Hospital in Phoenix. They saw me very quickly and took vera back. In minutes they returned and informed me that this was the cost, and I was told "If you do not pay this, no care or tests will be done". While I know they must be paid, the person should have had some finesse. Vera stayed about 30 hours, and it was $1000 of dollars. They had no diagnoses, they said I could pick up my kitty. I asked for hard copies of all the test and results. When I came to pick up, I was... read more

For Brandy! One of the most important decisions is where to take your family when an emergency arrives. I'm 62 and have had many many pets, animals and horses in my lifetime. I have never had a more devastating and horrible experience in my lifetime as I had on June 7th, 2023 when my Brandy was taken from me by the Vet AT THIS FACILITY. I arrived about 2 am as Brandy the last two weeks had been throwing up a lot, been a little slower than her normal frisbee catching self and cuddling I did sense her breathing heavier at ti... read more

I've been dealing with Dermatology for Animals almost a year now. I have a Great Dane with severe skin issues and thankfully the vet here was able to diagnose his issue. Let me first say, I love the vet. It's the front staff that I am not fond of. My Great Dane has to be on medication on a regular basis. Due to the current COVID restrictions (even though they have been lifted by the CDC) I have to park, call the number and wait for them to bring out the meds to me. And there lies the problem. It is not unusual for me t... read more

I am disappointed in the overall level of care that I received. My complaints are not with any particular staff member (Every staff member I did interact with was extremely personable and professional) however there was a huge deficit in overall communication and care for me as a pet owner. I brought my dog to the ER due to extreme respiratory concerns and fever that were occurring overnight after not improving from a visit to his regular vet. I brought him in on a Saturday and was given two options: (1) to have him seen and... read more

My bill with Blue Pearl was $ 24,482. the worst part is that my dog had to be euthanized because of the mistakes of the hospital. When I went to get her ashes they took advantage of my grief and extra charge for $ 4,344, and handled me the invoices that I did not want even to see because my head was not in place. Please read this and do not bring your pet to this hospital: On September 23rd night I brought my dog for an emergency surgery GDV, Sasha's stomach was already swollen which could lead to death tissue-necrosis. Sh... read more

I have never been more horrified by any experience like the experience I have had at Blue Pearl. The two times I’ve used them (one in Brooklyn and one by this location) I have been treated like dirt. They have been horribly rude and horribly unprofessional. For people that deal in animal emergencies, you’d think they would focus on customer service. Not them. They should be shut down as a practice. Do not go here.

I will NEVER go to Blue Pearl emergency vet again! You told me when I called ahead that it'd be an hour wait. You didn't mention there was no waiting room. We waited for 3.5 hours in my car with NO updates at all. Finally, I called and spoke to the vet who had my puppy's age and symptoms wrong despite my clearly stating what was going on. My poor baby was in a kennel feeling stressed for over 3.5 hours. I brought her in because she's been lethargic and didn't eat today and had diarrhea once. You only aggravated her symptoms... read more

To say these people are pricey is an understatement. I had to bring my dog there after urgent vet referred me to them because he had to be monitored overnight. Immediately they ask for $2100 on the credit card "just in case" what might happen. By morning, my bill was at $900. I call and they are working on a "treatment plan" even though they are not his vet. He was just brought there to be stabilized. Now, the plan is to keep him 24 to 48 more hours, at an additional cost of $3100 - $5100. Luckily I found a place in S... read more
