I am a fully certified nail artist of 6 years. I had been looking for a while for a reputable salon who provided hard gel and Russian manicure to send my mother in law to, as she lives in Kamloops- and I do not. I went in for a manicure and pedicure, for a set of gel nails. I had two different design types requested (i am picky but i always tip well), and wanted rounded rather than square. I said this multiple times. I showed images of what i wanted. Instead of rounded, I received flared out square nails. The design options i showed the nail tech (who said they’d had many years of experience) was unable to do it, saying it didn’t work for gel polish.
