Great central location to Banner Elk. Close to restaurants, stores, trails, and other activities. Rooms were nice and clean. Friendly staff. Everyday activities for the kids. Pond with geese that you can fish in. The only downside was that the pool was being renovated during our stay.
Still recovering from Hurricane Helene, but we're having a great time. Still snow on Sugar Mountain despite 50°+ daytime highs. Our 2/2 loft is very comfortable and reasonably clean.
Rooms are nice but are not cleaned well. One room has a broken window and doors that wouldn't close. Floors and walls are thin and everyone can hear everything. 🥰🫣 The people in the check-in were nice and helpful. There is not much to do at the resort. There is a putput area, a fire pit, and a pond. There are places to do snow activities close by and hiking trails.
