Burgers are not at all what they were before changing owners. I've been there two or three times since, hoping it was just a fluke, but I think the writing is on the wall. Hoping for something yummy to go in once it inevitably closes for good.
I used to really like this place. Their burgers have always been great, but I visited last week and had the Black and Bleu burger. The only thing on it was the bourbon sauce and lettuce. It was absolutely sickening. The “bourbon sauce” tasted like brown gravy. That burger made me not want to return to Bluegrass Burgers.

I went during burger week because it was one of the few places offering gluten-free substitutions. The burger was phenomenal and all the sides are gluten-free, which is awesome for me!
Went There on $5 Burger Of The Week Promotion!! It was FABULOUS!! I Had The PB& J Burger!! Who would Have Thought Fried Peaches & Bourbon Sauce would Go Together!!
Had the PBJ burger they are advertising for Burger Week. The sandwich and toppings were great but my burger was undercooked, as was my coworker’s. When I order MW, I don’t want pink!!! Fries were terrible...limp and about half the quantity they should be for the price. You got three stars from me because those burger toppings (peaches, pistachio butter and bourbon jam with goat cheese and arugula) were an amazing combo. Need to work on burger temp and those icky fries!
Today Mark's the death of my favorite burger place in Louisville. I used to come here almost every week. With scheduling conflicts I have not been here in a few months. Boy has the place changed. I am all for staying updated with the times. New remodel here and there. Add new stuff to the menus. All good things. However the place has changed so much including the food. We just ordered 3 burgers, one a double through postmates and received 3 burgers with absolutely nothing else with them. For $42 bucks. Checking postmates menu and EVERY OTHER menu I could find online, they ALL said that they came with fries. Now I see on your Facebook menu that all of your burgers are now ala carte. Ok, fine. Now I know and I will not be ordering from you again, because as others have commented on here, your food is not so great anymore. Also, y’all need to update your shit.
Burgers were great! Service was awesome. Needs a little better air conditioning though.
