VERY DISAPPOINTED My friends and I went to this place because it was the only sushi place that opens late in this area (Omaha is such a small town, everything closes right after 9pm). I've got to say that i was very disappointed with the food but mainly with the SERVICE. The staff were really arrogant and they acted like they're too "cool' to serve us or something. Always Wonderful We dine at Blue at least once a month and are happy to see they are now downtown. It is definitely the freshest fish in the city and my guess is that would be due to their high volume. The overall experience is always wonderful. There is always something about the aura that adds to the wonderfull food. There have been times where we have waited just a bit for something, but it is very understandable as it can get extremely busy. We always recommend their restaurants to friends. Keep up the great work!
Best Sushi in town Only place we go in Omaha for Sushi. Employees are friendly. Prices are typical. Only drawback would be how crowded it can get sometimes. Very trendy place, younger (or wanna be younger) type crowd.
Food Okay, Service Terrible For better service/atmosphere, try Kona Grill or Hiro. At Blue, it took forever for them to take our orders & a long while before appetizers arrived. Also, unresponsive waitress (probably b/c she knew she was already receiving the built in 18% gratuity for large groups). By the way, they don't do separate checks for groups so make sure to keep track of what you order otherwise, you'll need to divide the total by # in the group.
