I had a fantastic experience with Blue Star. They customized a menu for us for our corporate two day event and the food was fantastic. Everything was cared for and executed flawlessly for all of our guests. Thank you Barry!
The whole team at Blue Star is wonderful. I work at a construction company and we had a lunch for the entire site. The lunch was originally supposed to be around 400 people, but I found out a week before it was going to be closer to 600. The venue also changed (things are always changing fast on a large construction site). Barry and his crew had to come out on to the job site to set up the 600 boxed lunches. Wow! Unexpected delight! The entree combinations are kinda unique. I mean they had chicken and waffles with two sides. The lady behind me ordered that with fruit. I had shrimp n grits with mac &cheese and yams This is a must try go here lunch if you work downtown. Cafe style

Great little meat+2 right around the corner from the hotel where I stayed (Detroit Foundation Hotel). The atmosphere was lovely - light, cozy, soft music. Welcoming, comfortable, quiet but not hushed. I enjoyed the food, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and if I'm ever in Detroit again, I'll DEFINITELY be back!
