the crab cakes are stellar, the crab soup is the best locally. the rest is ok.
My boyfriend and I are new to Virginia so we have been trying several restaurants as we learn the area. I noticed Blue had a 5 star rating on yelp out of about 286 people. I considered that pretty promising so we gave it a try. First honest reaction is the place is pretty small but very clean and well decorated. It seems they have out grown their building and should perhaps find a larger establishment to match their popularity. Granted we were there on a Saturday night. The best crab cakes and the attention was great. I loved the bread putting dessert..everything was very tasty.
Went here for date night with my fiancé and we were not disappointed! Service was excellent, food was amazing. The seafood here is very fresh and the creme brûlée is great! Will definitely go back again.
Everything you expect in a first class restaurant is here with the plus of having very personable staff. And, if you have a birthday dinner, you must ask to meet Hector the children.
