Everything was fine until one of the couples we were with complained because their food was taking an extremely long time. The man behind the counter was very rude when they asked him how much longer. He said "Oh you ordered the catfish?? It takes forever! It takes 15 minutes or longer to cook!" Maybe that's something they should share with their customers when they order! And since when does it take 15 mins to fry a piece of catfish?? The barbecue was great and so was the homemade key lime pie.
This the worst BBQ in Blue Ridge. The Brunswick stew was actually a soup, the onion rings were "pastry puffs" with ONE strand of onion in them and the chopped BBQ was actually ground dry BBQ. To add insult you had to go to a window order and "pay" and then sit and wait till they called your number so YOU could then go and pick up your order. No service and definitely NO TASTE!!!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Blue Ridge. Nothing fancy, just really good barbecue and sides. And their homemade key lime pie is delicious! Friendly staff and open on Sunday's.
