RecommendedGood, smoky pork; creamy mac and cheese; tangy Brunswick stew. Trust me - the place down the street may have some award, but this place has the good food! (And, yes, I've eaten at the other place recently.)
They give a discount to anyone who brings in a church flyer on Sundays to prove they went to Church. They proudly post a cease aand desist request from civil liberties groups on their front door oover this unfair practice that showsshows preference for "the right kind of people". RUN!
The pulled pork was good. The Mac and cheese tasted and looked worse than Kraft out of a box. We went here while on vacation, next time we go to this area we will pick another bbq place to try. We had our heart set on trying mikes bbq, but they had already sold out.
The homemade chicken salad is the best i have ever ate!!!
Nothing special. I doubt they even smoke their own meat. Chicken was bland. You try to walk in and you have to get past the people ordering, as the register/order counter is right in front of the door. Poor layout and service.
Best BBQ ever! : ) go eat here if you want some good BBQ!
