Considerate, warm staff; specials were amazing; appreciated the special attention we were given by Mandy. We will definitely be back and ask for the table by the bar.
The food was good but nothing amazing for the price they were charging. What would keep me from never going back was the absolutely unbelievable slow service when our table was the only one left upstairs to be served. Then the snotty and multi excuse response we got when "asking" nicely for someone to please take our dessert order because our waiter was no where to be found. We had a great dinner at Blue Paddle on New Year's Eve. Amazing food, great service and great people! Quant Vermont atmosphere, a must try for everyone.
We typically head to Shore Acres for a quiet and thoughtful menu selection, but decided to stop last week just before Christmas Eve. It was very cozy and soft music playing- we were seated first floor , and could view the bar area. Twice during our 50 minute meal, the Chef left the kitchen and audibly snapped at staff "standing around and wasting time" visiting with the bartender. No nicer people and no better place to get a great brunch or dinner. We've been here a handful of times with the kids. The menu is exceptional and the atmosphere is very comfortable. An enjoyable experience every time.
