The BBQ Nachos were amazing! Outside atmosphere was great for my two small children. Overall it was a great experience

The chopped brisket was a he best I've ever had and the ginger slaw was a new one date treat!
New Orleans certainly isn't a hot bed for BBQ restaurants. Blue Oak is definitely one of, if not the best in town. I had the brisket, sausage, and rib combo platter with sides of mac-n-cheese and the ginger slaw. Excellent! My wife had the wings with the rooster sauce. Probably the best wings I have ever tasted. We will be going back, and bringing our friends.

Going in I was expecting a homey family barbecue atmosphere with some good food. Man was I surprised! The atmosphere was perfect, with all the happiness and the sense that I was always welcome and would be warmly accepted. The food was far better than I had anticipated. The meat was so tender and flavorful, and all the sides were sheer perfection! I don't think there's a thing on the menu that wouldn't impress me.
Unbelievable. I've never tasted anything as good as those spicy fried pork ribs I had today with my son. Those need to be on the regular menu. Wow.
Great atmosphere. Nice staff, good beer selection and the spicy chicken sandwich and side of mac and cheese was awesome!
It was ok at best... Too much 7-9 "season-ing" ... Fox Bros Atl is better
