Good service, excellent food. Alejandro is one of the best waiters—full of enthusiasm and very dedicated to his work.
We wanted to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and picked Blue Akai, and it was the perfect choice! The vibe here is amazing—what a fun spot. The staff were so engaging and made us feel right at home. You absolutely have to try their guacamole; it’s fantastic! My husband went for the sizzling fajitas, and I had a specialty quesadilla, and both were delicious. We’re so happy it’s only 15 minutes away; we’ll definitely be back.
FIrst time in the Englewood area. Saw a show at Bergen Pac. Went early to get dinner. Walking around the quaint area before the show and came upon this restaurant. You can choose from Sushi or Mexican. We chose Mexican and what a great choice this was. This restarunt is excellent!!!!! From the atmosphere to the service to the great food. We went to the theater and had no idea where to eat and took a chance and we were extremely pleased! I had the Mexican veggie stir fry with shrimp. Everything was very fresh and absolutely delicious. Their watermelon preseco Margherita was awesome and the atmosphere was so happy and entertaining! Next time i am trying the sushi, it looked amazing at the table next to us! I highly recommend it!!
We were regulars at Akai Sushi Lounge and followed them to their new location. The sushi is top notch and the service is always wonderful. The new location is absolutely beautiful and family friendly. I love the concept of blending Tex-Mex with Asian fusion, so many options to choose from. The owner is also super friendly and regularly checks in with customers to make sure all is well. 10/10 recommend!
