Alright.. I have always found cute stuff there in my size. Sadly the stuff in my size is always very expensive. She is cheaper than a name brand store on my favorite jeans, but still way too high. I did love shopping at her store until I took some clothes their to sale. Everything was fine until I went to get my clothes, and some came up missing. She said that stuff gets stolen every now and then from the very beginning before I put my clothes in there, and it was on her little contract that she was not responsible for them.... read more
To "Star" First of all....I have never had a consignor named Star. Nor have I ever sold any one item for $100 since I took the store over last August. I have never ripped anyone off. It amazes me that people will come in and read the consignment contract and all the terms and sign it...and then if they don't make the amount of money they want they say they got ripped off. I keep exact count of peoples items and what they sell. I have never stolen from my consignors. I do whatever i can to make them happy because without them... read more
Eh... Cute store, cute clothes....but I think it was too expensive. If I go to a resale shop, I want an awesome deal. The cheapest shirt I found was nine bucks. The cheapest jeans were around twenty bucks. I would have given the store five stars if it were just less expensive.
STAY AWAY - RIP OFF! RIP OFF! Stay away from this this place! This clothing consignment store has new management and the store is more organized, but they cheat you out of money! There is no way to determine how much of your items sell. After a number of days the item no longer belongs to you...the store gets it and you get no money! They sold an item of mine for over $100 and I got less than $20. How is that 60/40? Basic math would equal at least $40!! RIP OFF!
A great consignment store Blue Moon offers men, womens and children's clothing and accessories at a fraction of the price you would purchase them new. They are a great consignment store that has something for everyone in the family. They also offer maternity and plus size clothing. They give fair rates if you consign with them. Their staff is always friendly and helpful and they are always getting in new merchandise, so each time you go in they'll have something new and different. Owner I am the new owner of Blue Moon Consignment! I took over in August 2010...just 4 months ago....iI was mortified when i read the unhappy reviews refering to the previous owner!! Yikes!!! Well...let me assure you...the prices are ALOT lower than the were before. I have jeans ranging anywhere from 6.50 up to 25.00...still awesome name brands....much more organized, cleaner and i promise once you use our services you will become a returner.
