The ambience was awesome but it doesn’t come close to its great food.
A good breakfast (wish it was larger) but our server was the best possible man we could have had at that moment.
Absolutely awful experience. Just left this place about 5 minutes ago with my family. The hostess had the worst attitude about getting us a table even though it was 630pm on a Monday night and they were completely dead. When they finally got us a table no one ever came and asked for our drinks or anything. The hostess kept rolling her eyes as they were setting up our table. Loved the Fish Tacos. The Clam Chowder was outstanding. Service was top notch, thank you Brian for your service and recommendations. We came back the next day for drinks in the bar area, great atmosphere!
Blue Mermaid used to be my go to spot while in S.F. However, last week when I visited the menu was completely changed (I'm sure due to the renovation). The Pasta & Potatoes Gratin were changed (My favorite on the menu). We were seated outside & our waiter was hardly around. Lastly, the plastic straws (which I like) were changed to these paper straws (Yuk). I was overall very disappointed with the visit. The $130 bill could have easily been spent elsewhere. That will be my last visit:(
