Favorite coffee shop. Nice folks, GREAT baked goods, wonderful coffee. I can't say it is a "hidden gem", because everyone seems to know about it!
One of my favorite lunch stops until I found a rolled up straw cover buried in my bowl of Salsa. Apparently they recycle the bowls of Salsa, failing to discard previous customer's leftovers. I wish I had known that before I put it in my mouth...shows me that they do not follow sanitary practices. I won't be eating here in the future.

I'm sorry you found that in your salsa dish. We would never reuse anything opened and that was on another table, we do take sanitation practices very seriously. The staff is trained in sanitation practices and I'm very embarrassed this happened. I hope you told the server or manager on duty, but this is the first I'm hearing about it. I promise I will talk to my staff about their certifications and what it means...I'm sorry.
