After hearing wonderful reviews about this placed I stopped there tonight. Truly disappointing. How do you even serve a warm margarita? Well with melted ice of course. Food arrives, only one order is correct. Food was blah. Sorry, I would not recommend this place.
Absolutely revolting. Besides the general air of uncleanliness and sticky tables, the nachos tasted of cheap old oil. The taco salad was 99% shredded lettuce which not only was bitter but still tasted of the chemical washing agent they use on that sort of product. Why go so cheap on lettuce, that's a weird place to try and save money. Great food, excellent service!
Had lunch today at Blue Iguana. Great food, wonderful service, nice town to visit and enjoy being on the river front. We'll be going back soon. I'll drive from Iowa City to LaClaire to have a great meal and visit the quilt shop.

Recent visit was unsatisfactory ......good and response from management to solve problem. The chorizo tacos were not edible. Meat was flavorless, appeared to not be fully cooked and full of gristle.Zero stars!
Stopped in for dinner during my visit to Le Claire. Nice staff, and the food was good, but nothing unique or amazing. The atmosphere for great for the most part, but a bit noisy, which was probably just due to the fact we came in on a Saturday night. The prices were affordable.
