RecommendedGreat experience. Went for an appetizer on the way to the QCs. Courteous staff. Great service and amazing food as always!

The menu change at Blue Iguana sucks. I would not consider them Mexican anymore. Gen Mgr from Steventons running it now. Not good and expensive. Trying to make it a little Steventons. Why make such drastic changes? Chips and salsa just run of the mill now. Generic crappy chips and bottled salsa. Took away the flautas. I won’t be back. $11.00 for a salad that was arugula with a few tomatoes a sprinkle of cheese and a few pieces of cucumber. The bacon was missing. Ridiculous.
Just had a disappointing meal here. The strawberry margarita was sour tasting and watered down. The shredded chicken in my enchiladas was good but the salsa verde was too tart, with lime maybe? Our friends shared the Tacos entree and it should have said street tacos as they were tiny little 2 bite tacos. The service was pleasant but pretty slow since there were 7 employees out in the dining area and maybe 5-6 tables with people. Our server Sophie was amazing. Food was good and came out quickly. Nice to find good Tex-Mex in Iowa. Great views of the Mississippi River as well.
Incredible Tuna tacos, great atmosphere. Definitely going back.
