Welcome to the Blue Dragon Restaurant where you can dine and dance under the palms and stars! We are conveniently located on the Big Island of Hawaii on the Kohala Coast, across from Kawaihae Harbor. Open since July of 2008, our values-based philosophy, beautifully renovated building (formerly the Blue Dolphin), smiling staff, healthy gourmet food and unique ambiance are making the Blue Dragon the place to be to FEED YOUR SOUL!

Great food, good music and wonderful friends...it was a truly awesome night and dining experience.
Farm to table foods. Tacos, ahi stuffed avo and shrimp and grits were wonderful. Average size portions. Dislike the automatic $10 per person music charge if no entree ordered.
The Blue Dragon was so different and fun. The food was delicious and the entertainment was local, which is what we enjoy. Open to the sky allows you to see the stars and enjoy the light breezes, loved it and will return.
Great food and entertainment. Nice menu selection for food and beverages. A must visit! P.S. The local give it a great rating too!
