Welcome to the Blue Dragon Restaurant where you can dine and dance under the palms and stars! We are conveniently located on the Big Island of Hawaii on the Kohala Coast, across from Kawaihae Harbor. Open since July of 2008, our values-based philosophy, beautifully renovated building (formerly the Blue Dolphin), smiling staff, healthy gourmet food and unique ambiance are making the Blue Dragon the place to be to FEED YOUR SOUL!

Cool place.great time
If you're ever on the Big Island, Hawaii, we highly recommend that you have a meal at the Blue Dragon Restaurant. Their food is fantastic, the atmosphere is awesome since it's an open-roof restaurant and often provides twinkling stars as your ceiling, and they have live music! Last night (12/1/13), there was a brass orchestra who has been together for 18 years, has quite a following of fan/dancers, and the piano player is a Grammy winner! All in all, a fantastic experience! (ps - I am not being paid for this review! LOL!)
