With several locations in the Desert Cities region, this innovative restaurant has proven itself to be a winner with good value and good food. Look for the blue awning and intimate, sparkling patio right on the sidewalk. Diners enjoy the selection of tasty tidbits. The blue and red taquitos are a colorful variation on a local favorite; they are made with naturally colored corn meal. The hearty Aztec-inspired Pollo en Mole is chicken in a chocolate-based spiced sauce. Or enjoy the traditional Paella from Spain, a huge platter... read more

Mixed experiences here - 50-50 chance, as food quality uncertain – I've been here twice and would write a different review each time. The first time we went six months ago, we loved it! The margaritas are outstanding (although VERY expensive at $9/ea), and the service was excellent. After we went again, I can still say the service is excellent, you are seated promptly, and the ambience is lovely. However, the food is of mixed quality. This past time, we found the pork to be extremely fatty and unedible. The food was also luk... read more
Food was disappointing – We just came from dinner at Blue Coyote and were so disappointed. We both had enchiladas which were bland, my rice was lukewarm at best and the beans were overly salty. The salsa didn't have any kick. The Wild margarita was just OK. Service was fine but the place was fairly empty so I'd expect OK service. Great location but that's where the greatness ends.
Best Ribs Ever – Awesome baby back ribs, best ever. Service, most excellent. Everyone has a smile, and the host is very courteous. A must-visit in Palm Springs, don't miss it.
A must when in Palm Springs – Very creative menu, lots of unique dishes that rock my picky world. Spend the extra money and get an order of the guacamole! The margaritas are great (but strong). Service can be slow, but so worth it. We eat there every time we go to Palm Springs. Wish I was there now, better yet that they would relocate just around the corner from my house.
Editorial Review – Established in 1992, this restaurant features Southwestern and Mexican dishes such as Yucatan Mahi, Tampico, tequila prawns and cowboy steak.
Pretty good! – I had the crispy beef taco and a chicken enchilada. The combo plates come with black beans, rice and sweet corn cake. The taco was great, the enchilada was kinda plain and the black beans were a little too firm. My BF had the shredded chicken with eggs - very tasty! Their salsa has a unique blend and is very fresh. Overall the food was pretty good and the service was fast and attentive. I would definitely come back!
User review by dnbashore – The best margaritas in the desert. The food is not your typical Mexican burritos, tacos, and enchiladas. They have creative dishes that you will not find elsewhere.
awful service – I was there last week with some colleagues. The food was typical tex-mex. The service was awful. Drinks weren't refilled. Food came out sporadically and went to the wrong people. We were even charged for an extra entree, and our server (who did not speak english) refused to remove it from our tab! We felt taken advantage of, and it made all of us very unhappy customers, especially since some people were on per diems. Next time, I will choose a restaurant whose servers can count!
Sucky, Sucky – This was the worst food that we have eatten in years. The atmosphere was nice but the food tasted like something out of a can and my wife, me, and one of my friends were sick the next day after. The beans were not cook either and the rice tasted like it was instant rice. It was no wonder that we received our food so quickly when everything was premade! The only was you will like this place is if you are going here to get drunk. But DON'T EAT THE FOOD!!!!!!!!!!
