I cannot recommend Blue Canoe Wood Floors, Inc. enough. Ben did a fantastic job refinishing our golden oak pre-finished floors to a beautiful natural finish when I sold my home. They did a fantastic job, and it is an easy way to update your space!
I just had a new maple floor installed by Ben and Dave in May, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Great and prompt communication from start to finish, very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional!! Ben even came back like 2 months later to fix a very minor issue that I noticed. I texted him on a Tuesday, and he had it fixed by Friday! Definitely would recommend Blue Canoe to anyone! Thanks guys!!
Overall I had a good experience with these guys and would recommend them. They were able to come out to complete the job within a few weeks of quoting, got the job done quickly, and the floors look fantastic. There was almost zero dust from the sanding and the smell from the finish was gone in just a few days (after not being that strong to begin with). Blue Canoe was absolutely amazing when refinishing our floors. We live in a 1923 house that had carpet all over the first floor. I've called Blue Canoe for a bid and Ben answered me right away, and visit us on the same day. He was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave us his bid right on the spot advising what would be the best for the project but without pressing us for an answer right there.
