The main attraction at this club in Newport Beach is the great live jazz seven nights a week. The Edmund Velasco Quintet tears up the place every Sunday night. The crowd is mainly beach bunnies and dudes, so it is a big-time pickup spot and a great place to take a date, as long as you don't mind their eyes wandering toward the sexy scenery at the bar. The martini menu features every kind of martini you can imagine.

A cool little place to go hang out and dance. This place goes off some night's where they spin 80's and other cool tune's, they also play the Blues a couple nights a week. There is definitely a scene here though, expect a lot of young college kids. There's also a decent happy hour with $2.00 drinks Monday through Friday 3-6 pm.
Patio Check out the upstairs patio and you will be pleasantly surprised. The best outdoor patio in all of Newport. The lines can be long but the bands and dance floor are fun!
Check out the PATIO & the WILD WAHINE!!! This place was awesome and the bartenders totally took care of me!! Didn't know what I wanted to drink so I told them to "surprise" me.... ended up with some specialty mango flavored tequila-based cocktail called the WILD WAHINE. Needless to say, I made some pretty bad decisions that night!!
Blue Beet Cafe has excellent food for great prices! Yumm! The reviewer that said they put dirt in the food is ridiculous=s! He failed to mention that before that day he is talking about he brought his family there 2 or 3 other times while they were on their vacation and ranted and raved about how good it was and inexpensive! He was just trying to obviously get a free meal on his vacation. Every time I go here the food is fantastic...the wings and beef stroganoff was amazing!!
fish & chips! best fish & chips ever! Very very yummy! Awesome onion rings too. don't seem to be any windows so kind of dark inside....
A great night I had a great night of dining and dancing at the Blue Beet. A group of 10 of us started with dinner and drink , then the band came on and they played 80's & 90's rock. It was awesome. The upstairs patio is a wonderful place to go cool off. Had an awesome time.
The staff let the employees and their friends have birthday parties and brining in all their friends while everyone waited in line watching their friends go in
RecommendedFood was good. The only complaint I have is that the price on my bill was $5.00 more per plate then what is on the menu from the website..so we paid $11.00 more then what was on menu..when we asked the guy, he said its not been updated but this was new prices. 🤔
The only reason I go to Newport Beach is for The Blue Beet. The staff is very friendly and on top of service.
