Christianson installed the HVAC in our brand new home 6 months ago and it has already failed once. Now we have been dealing with overwhelming humidity inside of our home for the past two weeks that won’t go away despite them coming out twice now. They are trying to blame the builder for the problem, and the customer service we are receiving is absolutely awful. Rude, condescending and downright indifferent to our problem. I would never recommend this company to anyone!
We scheduled a maintenance visit earlier this week for our heat pump in Austin, TX. The technician showed up in the morning and started with a complete system check. He inspected electrical connections, cleaned the outdoor coil and tested the thermostat. During the inspection he found a loose wire and secured it before it caused bigger problems. Had the crew out last week because the airflow in a few rooms felt weak. They arrived around 2pm and inspected the ductwork and blower motor. One of the technicians noticed buildup around the blower assembly. After cleaning and adjusting it the airflow improved quite a bit. The repair visit took about an hour and they tested the system before leaving. The guys were respectful of the house and wore shoe covers. I’m happy with the results and the home feels cooler again.
Our AC wasnt keeping the house cool so we called for a service visit two days ago. The technician arrived about 1pm and started with a system inspection. He checked refrigerant levels and found they were low because of a loose connection outside. After sealing it and recharging the system he tested everything again. Within about 30 minutes the air coming from the vents felt much colder. The repair seemed simple but he explained the issue clearly. Overall the crew handled it well and the house feels comfortable again.
Do not schedule these guys unless you work from home. They will not adhere to their own timelines and if you have anything of value lock it up. So far I have noticed a missing phone charger that was on my bed along with an expensive fragrance that was on my night stand. I'd hate to see what happens when the customer isn't at home.
