Love it....but make a reservation! Absolutely amazing! They have live bands playing who are fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious! The waitress was genuinely nice and had no issues having to give three of us 4 seperate bills. They don't mind if you linger at your table either! I do recommend making a reservation ahead of time as they are very busy and most likely will not have open seating.
Best in Roanoke Best restaurant in Roanoke. Love this place; my wife and I have been going here for years. The Shrimp and Grits are one of a kind (tomato-based with Andoille sausage and very large shrimp), the filet is as good as any I ever had. The scallops are also very tender and flavorful. They need to bring back the cherry chocolate cheesecake, though. Live music is usually very good (and no cover charge). I tell all my out of town friends to visit here first. Thanks Blue 5 for taking it to another level for Roanoke!
a Roanoke must Best beer selection in town if you like Microbrews and tap beer , plus they've got a great happy hour every day. Fun, lively atmosphere with great music, though it can be hard to carry on a conversation when things get going. Last but of course not least, I think the food is quite good. The crab cakes on fried green tomatoes are DELICIOUS and now they have added some dishes with portobella mushrooms that I love.
Best kept secret in Roanoke My wife and I love Blue 5. We feel like we're getting out of Roanoke when we go. I hope they open one in Salem.
One of Roanoke's best!!! If you are going out to eat in Roanoke this place should be on the top of any list. They have great food and atmosphere, tons of microbrews and live music, typically blues, around 10pm if you are into that. We had our company holiday party there, and I've been a fan ever since. Entrees are $16-$22, they also have burgers and sandwiches. My wife loves the martinis.
yes please We have lived in Roanoke for 2 years and this was our first trip to Blue 5. I had no idea! The food, atmosphere, and staff were all out of this world. The bar has pieces of broken bottles in it. So cool! I had the special (filet) and my husband had the blackened tuna. Both were delicious. We will return. Highly recommended.
