Everybody was really nice, but the woman I got didn't really know what she was doing and my hair turned out orange. I wanted platinum highlights and have gotten them many times before and never had an issue. But, she wanted to do toner after the highlights and it turned my hair ORANGE. I will not be going back.
Never, ever a disappointment! Love this unpretentious salon located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Consistently great heads of hair walk out, produced by a team of young talented stylists headed by owner Mason Shupe.
This review is for after the below review. I called the salon to schedule my highlights to be fixed they had me in the next day and was very accommodating. Sarah did an amazing job and turned my highlights into what I wanted. Thank you so much for staying two hours past closing time to fix me! I came here to get caramel highlights. I asked if I could get more of a blonde caramel instead I ended up with patches of brassiness in my hair. Susy and Sarah have both done really good jobs on my hair!
Susy is the best! She had done a great balayge on me when it was colder but with the weather getting warmer, I wanted blonder and a short cut. She did an AWESOME job. I'm sooooo happy with both the color and the cut! Blown Salon is fabulous.
Oscar fixed my hair that had been destroyed at another salon. He did wonders! This place is awesome!!
