Editorial fromThis stylish sushi bar brings to mind L.A. in the '80s. Sleek lacquered wood and traditional sake pots are set against giant video screens playing Japanese animation. Add a pulsing techno soundtrack and you're blown away before you've…

Too pricey and pretentious Blowfish looks more like a nightclub then a sushi place and some of the choices are a bit too contrived. Prices are high and quality is so-so. I would much rather go to TGI Sushi or even Sushi Boat.
Sush at its worst With all the establishments in the Bay Area that serve sushi one might get overwhelmed with which one to choose. To make your decision a little easier, scratch Blowfish Sushi off of your list. The restaurant is incredibly overpriced and has a very short list of items.
Blowfish This place is very trendy and always has a live DJ spinning. It is not really a family atmosphere. If you want to kick back and enjoy some good sushi and sake bombs, this is the place to go in San Jose. If you want something different, this place is it.
Blowfish Sushi Blowfish Sushi is the most expensive sushi place that I have been to. All my wealthy friends say that they love this place so I came here to try, but it is extremely expensive. Hard to find parking, and not a big selection.
Loud It is a good party atmosphere but not really that fun if you are under 21. The sushi is expensive but really well plated and worth the money. The appetizers were good too.
too trendy for me, and the food doesn't justify the price I love sushi. I used to work in a Japanese restaurant. So, I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to good sushi. This place just gets customers based on it's location and the novelty of DJ music and trendy atmosphere. The sushi I got was nothing special. I feel the quality wasn't any better than some of the other sushi places in the same area. But of course they have to charge a higher price to pay the high rent.
Blowfish sushi disaster...don't go Ok, so you go there and the atmosphere is fine..service is lousy and the best part, the fish is over priced and very small portions. Go here if your just going to drink perhaps, but for a good sushi dinner, try Yuki instead and very close by...I would not go back to this place...
