Our dog was attacked by another dog last night and we frantically searched for places open in town to take him, went to one place it was closed.We found BVH and I'm glad we did. They were amazing,they noticed how badly h was bleeding and got us in right away. It did not matter that we had never been there before we were seen. They were so amazing and kind with our dog . I called three different veterinary offices that advertise emergency services and was turned down because I wasn’t a patient of record. BVH assessed my pet’s condition on the phone and agreed to see us right away. We were seen promptly, treated professionally and I was reassured that should I need after hours care, they could be reached! My puppy and I will both rest better tonight thanks to Dr Medlock at Bloomington Vet Hospital.

Sadly I was in Bloomington for a visit and my dog became ill. I called her and Shonna, the manager, stated not only were they booked until next week, but they were the only vet open in Bloomington on Saturdays. I was fine with them being booked, totally understand, but to lie and say I had to go to Indy wasn’t cool. Many other vets were open.
Thank you for the years (12) of care for our Sammy. With the help of Dr. Medlock we had 2 more months of quality time with our dog, that helped us make the decision when his final days did arrive. Drs. Medlock, Funk and Kahlil are all top notch and sensitive professionals. I only wish they could be my people doctors.
I only regret not writing this while I was still an active client. I recently moved and am looking for a new veterinarian to look after my 4 year old cat and 8 year old dog. Dr. Khalil was always super understanding and made sure to take the best care of both of my pets. I cannot recommend the Bloomington Veterinary Hospital enough. Reasonably priced and treat you and your fur babies like family. <3
